Teacher:

Holly Benavidez

Holly began serving in the CYT costume department in 2021 when her youngest daughter made her theater debut in the live-streamed production Anne of Green Gables. She went on to serve as Costume Chair for eight shows, proudly learning from and working with the most delightful, talented, and exceptional costumers in Fredericksburg. In 2024, she was blessed and honored to serve on the CYT Artistic Team as Costumer for the musical production of Anastasia. She grew up in Tidewater, Virginia and received her Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design and Business Arts from Tidewater Community College, as well as her Bachelor of Science in Education from Liberty University. Holly and her husband made Fredericksburg their home in 2009 after being stationed in Germany for four years. They have been married 20 years and have raised two daughters who are lovingly obsessed with CYT and all-things-theater. Holly and her family are very thankful to have this organization in their local community.
